Our Approach

BYFC has started its Community Health Program in mid-2004 and expanded the program during 2006. Our community health program is known as Ujjibon. We have established our program in
(1) Birampur Thana of Dinajpur, (2) Kotalipara Thana of Gopalgonj, (3) Kalkini Thana of Madaripur and (4) Birgonj thana of Dinajpur.

In Ujjibon we provide

General medical service

General medical service by the local specialist doctors. We did lots of awareness programs base on common health problems available in the rural area. Every week doctor visits the project and serves the local people who come to us.

Minimum Cost Medicine

We serve some medicine to those who are cardholders for the minimum cost if available.

Health Awareness

For Health awareness, our health workers visited the community people and provided them basic health-related information. This program is operated regularly basically in rural or village area of our project office.
